Weekly blog 4/3/2024

Well, this week I learned a lot about advertising and trying to place myself in other people’s shoes. I didn't know much about the Dove controversy because I wasn't active on social media at the time but to me I feel it wasn't that bad but after thinking about it I understand the up roar like they, dove, should've done something different like change up sequence of women being shown or not done the ad at all and then apologize to their consumers that something that makes me upset as a consumer in general that fact that a company did a bad a real big bad and dint do anything to solve the issue.  It shows me as a consumer that my thoughts and problems will be ignored and I as a consumer is just a dollar bill sign to them nothing more nothing less. It’s true but I don’t want to be shown and told that especially if I enjoy any product in general. I enjoyed the exercise of being put into other people thought process my only issue is that I don’t really look up to people as most if not everyone will let me down at some point, so I try not too but deep inside I do look up to my friend of mine, so it was interesting to try and pear into his thought process. This week for the class is just the start of what looks to be a very busy class with a lot of work but so far, its enjoyable I want to say.
