Concept vs template what the difference and how am I going to be able to use it going forward are some of the questions I have while learning about the two this week and so far, it is kind of hard to explain either first a template is a design that when finished can be changed out and messed with and would still get the same meaning and message across. like a simple design of a rock pub event, if there is a guitar design in the back, take it out but as long as it still has a background design, the name of the pub, and the name of the event it is still gets the point across from what I am understanding. A concept is a design choice that revolves around a theme and anyone one element once taken out wouldn't make sense for the piece. The theme would follow line, fraise, or take like "You can never have too much good stuff" and the imagery that would follow would be like people in a limo with all bunch of snacks inside them, which by the way this is an example from the video I watch this week, Advanced Creative Tutorial: The anatomy of a concept (youtube.com). Based on this video a concept is a design that once one element is taken away the design wouldn't make sense and would visually not make sense, were a template is a design that if one element gets changed the design still makes sense.
