advertisement learning 4/10/2024

 

In the advertisement world I’m learning about who and how to reach my target audience and in all honesty I like this because it will me learn how to be a better sales person at my current job and quiet possibly help me get a job in the field I am looking to work in, which is graphics design field. I enjoy learning about the phycology that goes into making an ad for people and how it can affect our way of seeing it. Like an exaggeration of a product like “Best burgers in the world” which is an exaggeration of what they have, though it is subjecting it could also be far from the truth. Ad have been used to mislead people for awhile now like the burgers in some of the fast-food industry they look bigger and better than what they actually look like but it works, it made people like me go to their store to get food only for It to look sad and small looking even though the ad makes it look bigger and full of life. Today I had to create a fake person as my target audience for a project and in all honesty my target audience will be the older crowd because they have the money needed to actually help the homeless. They have the resources needed to at least point these people in a better direction well the people who genuinely want help who want to no longer be homeless and have a life that is not struggling on the streets all night and all day.
